A sacred, mysterious grove of twisted paired Tulsi trees. Believed to be the nocturnal sanctum of Lord Krishna and Radha Rani's eternal Raas Leela. Gates close strictly at sunset.
Significance & Devotional Heritage
Every evening at sunset, the temple complex and forest are cleared of all humans, animals, and birds. Inside the Rang Mahal shrine, priests leave a sandalwood bed, fresh betel leaves (paan), holy water, and ornaments for the divine couple.
Nidhivan is the sacred grove where Swami Haridas practiced intense musical sadhana and where the deity of Bankey Bihari appeared (Prakat Sthali). The grove contains low-hanging, entwined Tulsi trees that grow in pairs, symbolizing Radha and Krishna and the Gopis.
